When I found out on December 25th, 2016 that George Michael my favorite singer; had died of natural causes, & had a dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver. He maybe gone but not forgotten & there's never going to be another singer like him. Because... Gawd could he sing. Most importantly with out any electronics to assist in making him sound good. His 55th birthday would have been yesterday (25/6) had he just seen a doctor & been diagnosed sooner. But, being that he was famous & probably had other things to worry about besides his health, it probably wasn't very important to him. Not as important as his fans. When watching a BBC special focusing on the singer, it's apparent just how loyal he was to his fans.
During the interview, you get a small sampling of how well this man can sing. While watching this, you get an in depth look into just what kind of person he was while he was alive.. And at the end.. He says;
"I can see myself just keeping on doing this, for 10 more years."
This documentary was filmed in 2005, & in the end he did just that releasing these song's in their respective years:
2012 "White Light"
2014 "Let Her Down Easy"
(From his vault) 2017 "Fantasy"
I am going to miss George Michael. I miss him day by day, & will continue to miss him year by year. There was never a singer before him & there won't be one to replace him.
One thing I want to say in closing, that as his fan.. He never let me down; ever. I hope that he knows that & that he rests in peace. :3

I never really knew about him before now. I tend to listen to hard rock & head banging music. Wow, he's got some mad chops. You should have introduced me to his music sooner! Still its a shame he passed away when he did. May he rip.

He will be missed by many. He was a good singer. His style of music was not my favorite but that doesnt make him bad or anything. We have lost quite a few artists too early. Some of my favorites are not touring or making new music anymore and that saddens me but makes me appreciate their music more. My favorite group are now retired and will never play live again and I am so glad I was able to see them on their last tour.

No doubt. If you grew up in the 80's there were three names that dominated the pop scene as far as male artists were concerned: George Michael, Prince and Michael Jackson.
George Michael is one of those guys who had his way of touching you through his music and @queenzelda is right, there will never be another like him.
