NFL Releases Statement On Nike-Kaepernick Deal

From The Score
To quote WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall as "Razor Ramon", Chico, Don't sing it... BRING IT!
I'm saying right now, the NFL is talking a good game, but I want to see a little less sizzle and a lot more steak. If you're gonna talk about the issues, talk about the issues. Come to an agreement in regard to conduct regarding the Anthem. Put Colin Kaepernick back on the field doing what he loves to do. Otherwise, I'll refer you to the first verse of "The Love Chapter" in the Bible"
Just saying
Jack Browne of The Score wrote:The NFL released a statement Tuesday on Nike, one of its major sponsors, naming unemployed quarterback Colin Kaepernick as the face of its 30th anniversary "Just Do It" campaign.
"The National Football League believes in dialogue, understanding, and unity. We embrace the role and responsibility of everyone involved with this game to promote meaningful, positive change in our communities," said Jocelyn Moore, the NFL's executive vice president of communications and public affairs, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
"The social justice issues that Colin and other professional athletes have raised deserve our attention."
More to come.
