C'mon now. Are you kidding me or what?! You're gonna file a lawsuit on a football game's outcome? I could understand it if this was done because of an intentional injury to one more of the players, but you, Mr. D'Amico are gonna file a lawsuit, on behalf of the fans of the New Orleans Saints over something that can occur (and has occurred) on any given Sunday in the National Football League. I tell ya, if I were the judge, I wouldn't even blink, let alone entertain this frivolous lawsuit, because as the article says, the final decision will not be brought in to civil court, an appellate court, the Louisiana State Supreme Court, The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS), or even the New Orleans Pelicans Basketball Court! No, the final decision would be in hands of the Commissioner of the National Football League, Roger Goodell. Mr. D'Amico, you are not doing yourself as an attorney any favors, nor are you doing any favors of the New Orleans Saints fans.

It’s highly unlikely that anything will come to fruition on this end. Even if the court were to rule in favor of D’Amico and Saints fans, the final decision will be left up to Goodell. With the NFL already preparing for a Super Bowl between the Patriots and Rams, that’s not going to happen.
In no way does this mean that what we saw filed Tuesday will be the end of things. Expect a class-action lawsuit on behalf of bettors moving forward, too.
