Welcome to this edition of FREE BYTE which also serves as a reminder that most people do not pay attention to now that Summer is here.
IT IS NOW SUMMERTIME. THE WEATHER IS GOING TO GET WARMER. WITH WARMER WEATHER, COMES HOT TEMPERATURES IN YOUR CAR. YOU DO NOT LEAVE YOUR KIDS AND/OR YOUR PETS IN A HOT CAR!
THE NUMBERS YOU SEE ABOVE ARE FOR PETS LEFT IN A CAR COURTESY OF THE AMERICAN VETRINARY MEDICAL ASSOCIATION. IF THOSE NUMBERS FOR ARE PETS, CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE FOR A CHILD?
BOTTOM LINE: KEEP YOUR KIDS AND YOUR PETS SAFE. DO NOT LEAVE THEM IN HOT CARS THIS SUMMER. I DO NOT WANT TO COME BACK A POST NEWS ABOUT A DEAD CHILD OR PET THAT WAS LEFT IN A HOT CAR. THIS IS TOTAL COMMON SENSE!
JUST SAYING.

Yeah, it feels like we get those tragedies every year .
In any case, I hope everybody keeps themselves, their kids and their pets safe - and, to the extent that the current situation allows, I hope everybody enjoys the summer!

Shame that people need to be reminded of this.
