Crawl to Brawl: 200-Person Scuffle Explodes Outside Upstate NY Pub, Sends 3 Stabbing Victims to Hospital

It went from a pub crawl to a massive brawl in a matter of minutes. Scuffle turned into kerfuffle morphed into melee transformed into a scrimmage evolved into a free-for-all that spilled into the parking lot.

Firefighters called to quell an overcrowding situation at a Rochester-area pub early Sunday morning were instead enveloped, along with their truck, in a 200-person fight. Three people went to the hospital with stab wounds, and three police departments had to rescue the firefighters who had initially come to help.

“We were kind of amazed at what transpired,” Lt. Jared Guhl, who was not at the scene but heard about it from the firefighters, told the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
